Lesson Fees and Tuition* are found on the next page of this policy.  Payment for each month is due the first week of each month.  Payment received after the 10th of each month is subject to a $10.00 late fee.  Please make all checks payable to, “Lifebeat Music.”  There will be a service charge of $25 for all returned checks. 

Makeup lessons are offered (But not guaranteed) for excused** students only.  Please be on time for your lessons.  Students who do not show up within 10 minutes of their lesson time without a phone call will be considered a no-show***.  All students under the age of 18 are asked to wait in the waiting room until the responsible adult returns.  If you leave your child unattended before or after your assigned lesson time, it is at your own risk.

Harp Ensemble and/or Chamber Ensemble are recommended during a student’s 2nd year of lessons and required in their 3rd year of lessons.  This requirement can be fulfilled by either joining the Lifebeat Music Harp Ensemble or by joining a chamber ensemble, provided that the student plays with at least one other instrumentalists, rehearses under a qualified instructor, and performs at a recital or concert.

Scholarships

Scholarships are based on Financial Need, Commitment/Dedication, and Advancement Level.  Promising students showing a continual effort in both commitment and performance will be eligible for a scholarship.  Only students paying full tuition is eligible.

1.Annual perfect attendance (Evaluated through January 31st each year) will receive one free month of lessons.

2.Students advancing two or more levels in one year will receive one free hour of studio recording time along with a $100 gift card.

*  Tuition reserves a set time and day each week for each student and ensures their lesson.  Please plan on paying a monthly tuition for four (4) lessons per month, regardless of the number of weeks in the month.  If the month has five (5) weeks, the extra lesson will count as a credit towards missed lessons due to excused absences, legal holidays, or cancellations initiated by the instructor. 

** Excused Absence:  Acceptable excuses include illnesses (ie, cold, flu, etc), Music related excuse (Concert or rehearsal), or Teacher illness or emergency and Music related excuse.
