Things You Need To Start Playing The Harp

Each instructor may choose to add or specify the list below to work around your goals so be sure to ask your instructor before purchasing these items.

• Harp (Ask your teacher for recommendations - Lever/pedal, size, rental, purchase, etc.)
• Tuning Key (Usually comes with the rental or purchase of a harp)
• Adjustable Harp Stool (High or low enough to bring you to the right height at harp)
• Footstool (if needed - to keep feet flat)
• Music Stand (Wire stands are weak and are not recommended,
but sometimes necessary due to budget)
• Electronic Chromatic Tuner
• Electronic Metronome
